2023 Taoyuan International Art Award

15 Finalists from 62 Countries Running for the “2023 Taoyuan International Art Award” and a Total Prize of NTD 1.45 Million

15 finalists from 62 countries will be running for the title of “2023 Taoyuan International Art Award” winners and a total prize of NTD 1.45 million. Despite the challenge imposed by the pandemic, the 2nd edition of the art award has successfully attracted 687 artworks worldwide to participate with a growth rate of over 13% for the number of submissions received. The award exhibition is looking to run from March 21st  to April 30th 2023 at Taoyuan Arts Center, Taiwan, the final winners will also be announced on-site.

Yango Announces Collaboration with Dubai-based Collectible Design Brend KAMEH at Art Dubai Digital 2023

Yango, an internationally recognized ride-hailing app, has joined forces with KAMEH, a UAE-based, enigmatic brand, to create a bespoke design for the Yango pick-up point at the entrance of Art Dubai Digital, the dedicated new media section of the region’s leading international art fair. By collaborating, both brands have demonstrated a mutual appreciation for art, design, and luxury. Visitors to the fair, which takes place at Madinat Jumeirah from March 3-5, will have the opportunity to discover the object and experience Yango’s services firsthand.

Rana Begum’s Striking Exploration of Light and Colour at Concrete, Alserkal

Celebrating five years of its multidisciplinary space Concrete, Alserkal Avenue is presenting a rare solo presentation of work by artist Rana Begum. This will be the artist’s largest solo exhibition in the region to date and will include works that have not been shown in the region before. Begum’s work will explore the interaction of light, colour and form in dialogue with OMA’s Concrete, responding to the building’s architectural conversation with light and form, captured in its minimalist lines. The exhibition is curated by Dr Cliff Lauson. Dappled Light opened to the public on 26 February and will run until 22 March 2023
