Slava Noor, Founder and Executive Editor of Arte & Lusso
Slava Noor is passionate about various forms of art and believe in its power to inspire people and bridge different cultures. She has created Arte & Lusso in order to promote both local and international talent and help artists, fashion designers and other creatives get the exposure they deserve. she is also passionate about different cuisines and enjoys reviewing restaurants in Dubai and Europe.
Slava can be spotted at major art and fashion events as well as sipping her favorite karak tea or espresso at one of the hidden cafes in Dubai.

Dr. Michaela Watrelot, Editor and Art Director
With a Ph.D. in Art History, Michaela Watrelot is an art historian, educator, and published author. Her academic knowledge is complemented by several institutional & research positions, including the Berlin State Museums and the auction house Christie’s. For Arte & Lusso, Michaela will be writing her regular art history essays, and cover exhibition openings, museum visits, artist interviews and cultural events regionally and internationally.

Maie El-Hage, Contributor
Maie El-Hage is an architect and art historian, with a Master of Arts degree in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex in the UK, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the American University of Beirut. She is a Curator and Artist Manager, and currently represents several Arab and European artists. Based in Beirut, Maie teaches Art History courses at the Lebanese American University and the American University of Beirut. She travels and attends conferences and international art shows and exhibitions. Maie is a published author; she writes about topics related to Art History, Architecture, and Contemporary Art Practices.

Marco Fraschetti, Art Curator and Contributor
Born in Italy, he has lived and worked in the Middle East for more than twenty years, contributing to the artistic and cultural growth of this region.
Awarded with the “Art Golden Visa”, the special 10-year visa by “Dubai Culture”, department of Dubai Government.
Artistic director, producer, musician, photographer.
He worked in the Government and in Private Companies as Artistic Director.
Maria Pavel, Artist and Contributor
Maria Pavel is a Romanian visual artist and writer based in Dubai, UAE. Art University graduate, she started her career in Fashion Design and continued in fashion retail as Visual Merchandising Manager but couldn’t resist to come back to her first love: painting! She contributes stories revolving the art scene in UAE and internationally.
The painting style she adopted have multiple sources of inspiration: contemporary feminine archetypes, abstract shapes, vibrant colours moulded by black contouring, cubism,pop art.
Anastasiia Garnova, Curator and Researcher in Visual Culture
Anastasiia Garnova has honed her expertise through academic pursuits and museum work. She studied at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at St. Petersburg State University, specializing in Renaissance and Soviet art. Her career path led her to the State Hermitage Museum, where she contributed to the contemporary art department’s curatorial team. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in curating numerous noteworthy contemporary art exhibitions, each drawing an audience of over 20,000 visitors. Now based in London through the Global Talent program, Anastasiia continues to explore her scholarly interests, focusing on the histories of women artists, political art, the cultural narratives of the Global South, and writing on London’s and the world’s art scene.
Ivana Zankevich, Illustrator and Contributor
Ivana Zankevich is a digital artist and art enthusiast with a passion for exploring the world. Ivana specializes in crafting digital collages that weave together elements of various cultures, traditions, and narratives. Her work serves as a vibrant reflection of her unique perspective on the world, showcasing the beauty and diversity she has encountered along her journey. She contributes to Arte & Lusso by covering key art events between Moscow and Dubai and elevates our branding with ber visual poetry.
Nina Mdivani, Art Curator and Writer
Nina Mdivani is Georgiani-born and New York-based independent curator, writer and researcher. Her academic background covers International Relations and Gender Studies from Tbilisi State University, Mount Holyoke College and, most recently, Museum Studies from City University of New York. Nina’s book, King is Female, published in October 2018 in Berlin by Wienand Verlag explores the lives of three Georgian women artists and is the first publication to investigate questions of the feminine identity in the context of the Eastern European historical, social, and cultural transformation of the last twenty years. As curator and writer Nina is interested in discovering hidden narratives within dominant cultures with focus on minorities and migrations.

Asif Somji is a personal stylist who advises individuals on new fashion trends and clothing styles to suit their lifestyle and profession. A qualified personal stylsit and image consultant, Asif is based in Dubai and works closely with various luxury brands and local and Italian tailoring experts. You will often catch him at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence attending the popular Pitti Uomo event and also a regular feature at several fashion shows at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Aida Dzhanhirova, Contributor
Aida Dzhanhirova is an art critic, supervisor of art and blockchain technology projects, co-author of an educational course on virtual assets under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, co-author of the Virtual Assets Law 2021 (Ukraine), at the moment she has the position of the expert on NFTs and Metaverse at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (Paris). In the past, she worked as the Director of “Lavra” Municipal Gallery (Kyiv, Ukraine), Art Director of Kyiv History Museum (Kyiv, Ukraine).

Andrea Leghissa is an italian lighting designer and novelist. In his career he designed many italian and international live shows, specializing in musical theatre. He’s also known for his lighting installations created with the use of the most advanced technologies, with a particular attention to lasers. As writer he’s working on the Metrion novels and writes for magazines in art and environment sections.
