Renowned for providing exceptional hospitality, AMELIA has expanded its presence in DOWNTOWN DUBAI, located at the iconic ADDRESS SKY VIEW.
Upon entering, you are transported into a retro-futuristic steampunk theme that blends elegance with a feminine ambiance, capturing a fusion of aviation, machinery, and sophistication.
The location has 5 different areas (Bar, Lounge, Fine Dining, Green Area, and Voyage by Amelia) where you can enjoy a cool night in the company of your friends, a romantic date night, or a dinner with your business partners.
Our team tried the Sharing Menu in the Fine Dining area, situated at mezzanine level, where we’ve been transported on an underwater journey in submarine-inspired decor with dramatic Art Nouveau custom arches.
As you step inside, you transcend into a retro futuristic steampunk inspired theme with a mixture of elegance, feminine atmosphere embodying a mix of aviation with both machinery & sophistication.
The menu features a well-crafted combination of Nikkei Cuisine infused with Mediterranean elements and a strong intercultural interaction that showcases a variety of flavors. The team introduce us every dish and recommended the tastier cocktails and mocktails. We started with the Guacamole served with plantain chips made in house and the delicious Ageta salad, a fresh mix of shitake mushrooms, mizuna, green apple, baby asparagus complimented by the goma dressing. The portions are very generous and enriches your palate with the perfect fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors.
Next in line were the Sake Maki that impressed us with taste and presentation – the salmon and avocado beautiful complemented by the Aji Passion, a hot spicy sauce consisting of chilli peppers, lime olive oil and coriander added to yellow passion fruit. Clearly our favorite from the list.
Rollo de camarones-mouth wathering mixture of shrimp, halloumi, avocado, kimchi, togarashi complimented with truffle cream Hamachi Tiradito-yellowtail, green chilli, chives and delicious ponzu sauce, representing the Japanese influence.
Our craving for something sweet was certainly fulfilled with the Pelota de Chocolate, which was served with vanilla ice cream and was filled with a creamy pistachio filling.
The cocktails we’ve tried were definitely the elevated creations of the well-known mixologists residing at Amelia. Crafted with the most luxurious Vida Mezcal accompanied by wild thyme and yuzu juice our top favorite was MIA.
Highlight: we absolutely enjoyed our Tuesday evening at Amelia, the trendiest place in town regarding atmosphere, cuisine, drinks, and service. Every aspect is meticulously arranged down to the finest details for an unforgettable experience.
