The Unique Gallery presents “The Art of Jewellery” at Firetti Contemporary Gallery, an immersive exhibition celebrating contemporary jewellery as a powerful artistic medium. The event unveils the latest collections by three internationally recognised jewellery brands—The Contrast Club, Hugo Cahill, and Nafees—and introduces a commissioned artwork by contemporary artist Yousra Wahba, titled The Brilliant Green.

Rooted in the idea of jewellery as collectible art, the exhibition explores the intersection of craftsmanship, materiality, colour, and concept, set within the refined curatorial environment of Firetti Contemporary.
Dalila Daffara, Founder of The Unique Gallery, states:
“The collaboration at Firetti Gallery supports an exhibiting artist while elevating jewellery into a curatorial context. Designers from different countries come together, united by a shared love for beauty, uniqueness, and culture. Each piece is a one-of-one work of art, where vibrant gemstones and the power of colour create a universal dialogue between creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.”

Featured Artwork: The Brilliant Green by Yousra Wahba
At the heart of the exhibition is The Brilliant Green, a commissioned sculptural artwork by Yousra Wahba, inspired by the poetic play of light within coloured gemstones. The work reflects on luminosity, perception, and chromatic depth, serving as a conceptual bridge between contemporary art and fine jewellery.
Yousra Wahba, Artist, comments:
“My work explores nature as a repository of memory and moments suspended in time through form and material. In this exhibition, the brilliance and structure of gemstones resonate with my ongoing investigation of organic life, transformation, and fleeting energy, creating a visual conversation between the natural world and human craftsmanship..”
Mara Firetti, Founder of Firetti Contemporary, adds:
“This exhibition brings jewellery into dialogue with contemporary art, positioning craftsmanship, materiality, and concept on equal ground. By presenting exceptional jewellery alongside Yousra Wahba’s sculptural works, we invite audiences to experience gemstones not only as objects of adornment, but as sources of artistic inspiration and cultural expression.”

About the Artist

Yousra Wahba (Saudi Arabia, 1977) is a multidisciplinary Egyptian artist whose practice frequently confronts the visual memory of nature and the metaphor of frozen memories, a particular experience, or emotions in time. Through this anchoring theme, she merges natural and organic elements translating into largely observational metaphoric shapes, driven by her background in Pharmaceutical Science. Pushing the limits of her material through persistent and relentless experimentation, Yousra creates sculptures of organic life forms like coral, flowers, and splashing liquid exploring the wild aspect of nature and reflecting fleeting moments of energy.
