The NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Art Gallery’s auxiliary venue, The Project Space, will open its final exhibition for the season, Symbiotic: Hyperreal, by Emirati artists and brothers Talal Al Najjar and Ziad Al Najjar, tomorrow, June 1, at 5:30pm. The exhibition will run for two weeks from Thursday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 14.
NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) has announced the opening of SYNTHESIS, an exhibition showcasing the research and experimentation of the University’s inaugural Master of Fine Arts (MFA) cohort, who visualize questions and ideas in expansive ways, and provide valuable insights into our contemporary global condition.
As part of its annual commitment to supporting and promoting local talent, this Ramadan, Al Fardan Jewellery Abu Dhabi has commissioned renowned Abu Dhabi artist, Hamad Al Nayli Al Shamsi for a special art mural that pays homage to the Emirati pearl diving season. The mural, which is showcased on the Al Fardan Jewellery Abu Dhabi boutique’s 61 square meters facade, reflects the brand’s strong connection to the seafaring and pearl trading traditions unique to the UAE, which have earned it a reputation as one of the largest natural pearl collectors in the region.
