The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) announces emerging Saudi filmmaker Jamal Kutbi as the winner of its 50,000 SAR award at the 4th Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF). This prestigious grant recognizes outstanding creativity and innovation in Saudi short films, supporting homegrown talent by funding the winner’s project development and production. Islamic Art Conference to Shed Light on Emerging Trends in Contemporary Islamic Arts and Crafts

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), in partnership with the Abdul Latif Alfozan Award for Mosque Architecture, will host the second edition of its Islamic Art Conference on November 25-30 as a cultural celebration and a global showcase of the heritage, living traditions and emerging trends of Islamic arts and crafts from across the Arab world.

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) unveils the winning artwork of the 5th Ithra Art Prize, ON (عن) by Iraqi-Finnish artist Adel Abidin, selected from over 10,000 submissions by an esteemed jury of international academics, gallerists, curators and artists. ON (عن) will be unveiled at Ithra before joining Ithra’s prestigious permanent collection.
