Renowned photographer Ricardo Khalil Abrahao has been announced as the winner of Connections Milan ‘Photo Editorial’ category for his latest story for Vogue Portugal.

The Brazilian artist with Arab roots, represented by MMG Art Production in the Middle East and Europe, shot the story for ‘The Lucky’ March ’24 issue. The prestigious award was given amongst numerous submissions and judged by a panel of experts from Versace, Prada, Valentino and more.

The editorial itself was heavily inspired by superstitions, lucky amulets and symbols, with the styling leaning heavily on the impact of the goddess and sainthood. The vibrant colors and contrast reflect the variety of cultures that stimulate the concept. Abrahao’s creative vision has seen his photography published in Vogue, L’Officiel and Numero, to name a few. Based between Paris and Dubai, his Palestinian and Lebanese heritage remains a major influence in his work, and ties him closely to the UAE market with clients in the region booking him regularly since his representation began with MMG Artists, a creative agency based in Dubai, Paris and London, operating worldwide. The agency represents and supports a diverse roster of internationally recognised and emerging talent in the worlds of photography, style, beauty, and videography, from all corners of the globe.

Beyond day-to-day management, the agency supports artists and clients on projects of all varieties, including full production services, studios and models, alongside sister agencies MMG Art Production, MMG Models & MMG Talent.
