THEM brins together artists from different nationalities and backgrounds, for showcase the richness and complexity of the UAE’s artistic community. THEM is about giving a voice, a space, and a platform for talented emerging and established artists calling the UAE home of their dreams, desires, fears and talents.
The opening of a new art gallery is always something extraordinarily positive for the whole community; for artists who have more spaces in which to show their works and create networks and present projects, for the public who have new and varied opportunities to discover art in all its forms. Ahmad Alrashid (Sahra Art Gallery Director) is an expert on artistic movements especially in the Gulf area, with a great sensitivity towards artists. I am sure that with his guidance this new gallery will have the opportunity to present new, interesting and alternative projects.
