Shoevenir is a vegan sneaker brand from Portugal that creates animal-free sneakers inspired by places and the memories behind them.
In line with their mission to support a more sustainable future, the sneakers are ethically made in Portugal using only vegan materials, and a tree is planted for every pair of sneakers sold. Shoevenir collaborates with Romanian artist Maria Pavel aka Gingerartsy for Etisalat MOTB, which kicked off on 19th Jan during the DSF and is one of Dubai’s biggest outdoor markets.
Shoevenir is very proud to be a part of the 10th edition of MOTB this year! At the event, we will have a couple of very exciting artists who will be showcasing their original styles through sneaker customizations at our booth.
We’re excited to collaborate with Maria Pavel, an emerging Dubai-based artist who will be bringing her bold colors and pop-art inspired patterns on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of January.
As an artist i am excited to participate in the event because i can be in touch with the visitors and share my art aesthetic with them. What i really like about the brand is that they use sustainable materials for their product and have a strong concept that will be developed more in the region.
I hope the event guests will enjoy my art and get inspired by my style and this collaboration.

The painting style adopted have multiple sources of inspiration: contemporary feminine archetypes, abstract shapes, vibrant colours moulded by black contouring, cubism, pop art.
Digital art, mix media on canvas, fluid art, markers on paper, fashion customizations with specific resistant paints and markers are few of the interests she’s building the artistic curriculum on.
