Asareh Ebrahimpour is an Iranian interdisciplinary artist and art performer based in Dubai. Her multifaceted background in interior design, math and physics , physical theatre, body awareness, Expressive art and movement therapy, drawing and painting shapes a deeply embodied and conceptual artistic language.

Working across performance, installation, video, and drawing, her practice explores the psychological and physical dimensions of identity, memory, displacement, and transformation. She uses tactile materials such as charcoal, clay, hair, in intuitive, ritual-based performances that navigate cycles of creation and destruction, vulnerability and resistance.

In 2025, Asareh was invited by ACCRA (International School of Theatre Anthropology and Research on Movements) and Teatro Potlach for an art residency and to perform at the XXV edition of the FLIPT Festival in Italy. Her performance Force of Existence was presented under the direction of Pino Di Buduo, in the presence of masters such as Eugenio Barba, Julia Varley, Valerio Apice, Claudio De Maglio, and Natalie Mentha, deepening her engagement with embodied storytelling and intercultural performance.

She has performed and exhibited at Ajman Museum, 421 Performance Collective, Alserkal Avenue, Sima art performance, Firetti Contemporary Art Gallery, Iris Art, and MIA Art Collection during Abu Dhabi Art, and has collaborated with international artists across disciplines.
Asareh is also the founder of Draw Motions and Emotions in Motion, the first expressive art and movement therapy workshops and retreat offered in both Farsi and English. These platforms integrate somatic awareness, creative process, and emotional exploration, offering immersive spaces for healing, transformation, and artistic awakening.

Through her practice, Asareh invites audiences into powerful spaces where ritual, the body, and raw materiality intersect—dissolving the boundaries between art and life, self and other, silence and expression.

P. S. Asareh Ebrahimpour wrote a poem for Force of Existence:

Force of Existence

There is no weight heavier than existence.
It presses against my skin like clay in my hands—soft, yet refusing to forget its shape.
I kneel into the mud.
It doesn’t ask me to.
And yet I go.
They say we are free.
But what kind of freedom bends you into a cycle of shaping and breaking, again and again?
I press.
I destroy.
I hold.
And still, the clay resists me—just as I resist myself.
Sometimes I think:
Maybe the clay is not the material.
Maybe I am.
Because every time I try to make something solid, it slips.
Like meaning.
Like memory.
Like love.
Like home.
Like myself.

And yet—I keep going.
Because even if everything is light, unbearably light,
this moment of touch is all I have.
