Slava Polunin, the legendary creator of SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW, has touched the heart of millions of spectators around the globe. Slava’s Theatre has been created from the fabric of dreams and fairy tales. Over the years, Slava has developed and mastered a tragic, metaphysical art of clowning by digging deep into tragicomedy to understand to what extent drama can be combined with laughter and apply it in a way that is captivating to a modern-day public accustomed to mesmerising rhythms in an never-ending kaleidoscope of events, colours, sounds, “spaces” and “times”. Slava is a President of the Academy of Fools, the Hans Christian Anderson Ambassador to Russia and director of the St Petersburg National Circus since 2013.
