In Downey’s Dream Cars, Downey and a team of experts restore six of his prized classic cars to make them more eco-friendly; updating them into the new millennium while preserving the power and style that made these vintage automobiles so legendary to begin with. In the series, Downey also investigates the future of mobility, seeking guidance from some of the most brilliant minds working today to imagine the next era of personal transportation and automotive innovation.

And a hypocrite, as I’d founded the Footprint Coalition in 2019 to scale technologies that mitigate climate change. Fortunately, I’m a bit of a dreamer. The last 3 years have been an experiment in hope, as I engaged the best and brightest minds to evaluate, educate, elevate, and decarbonize these vehicles in a way that demonstrates the limitless potential of creative problem solving.
