“Whispers from the Past” art exhibition features art pieces created by Philosopher Mohsen Khanji who was born in Aleppo in 1950.

Today marks the first day of Ramadan, the Holy Month that is central to the lives of Muslims worldwide. It is a beautiful time to slow down, reflect on one’s life and spend time with the loved ones. Ramadan is also celebrated through art shows across United Arab Emirates and we are happy to share one of the most beautiful art exhibits with you.

“Whispers from the Past” features art pieces created by Philosopher Mohsen Khanji who was born in Aleppo in 1950.  He uses traditional colours, textures and imaginative designs and techniques that bring the Arabic letters and the subjects to life. His unique pieces showcase Arabic decoration, engraving on metals and three-dimensional painting.Vanessa de Caires, Owner of Sulty Events & Entertainment Dubai said: “We selected the works of Mohsen Kanji, a member of the Fine Arts Union in Syria as it exemplifies the art of the Arab world and is in synergy with the mood of the Ramadan season encompassing colors, tones and calligraphy that our patrons search for during the holy month.”
