This year, AKABEKO, the celebrated Japanese yakiniku restaurant, invites guests to trade the usual holiday hustle for a warm and nostalgic culinary experience. From 5 November 2025 through to 14 January 2026, AKABEKO is debuting Beko’s Ōmi Wagyu Festive Feast (priced at AED 700 with sake pairing, AED 550 without), a limited-time, seven-course menu, available daily for both lunch and dinner.

Blending the comfort of traditional holiday flavours with the artistry of Japanese cuisine, this special offering is the perfect feature to end-of-year celebration, from intimate dinners to festive gatherings with family and friends. The menu will also be served on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, the latter featuring a specially crafted dessert.

Designed around Ōmi Wagyu, Japan’s oldest and most prized beef, the experience captures the spirit of the holidays through a series of elegant, handcrafted dishes. Starting with Ōmi Wagyu Truffle Potato, pairing thin slices of wagyu with silken potato purée and shaved white truffle. The Hassun Winter Harmony follows with a selection of seasonal bites. Guests will also get to savour the restaurant’s signature Ōmi Wagyu in House Date Miso, which reimagines a classic white miso marinade with a subtle Emirati influence.

On the heartier side is the Braised Ōmi Wagyu & Porcini, slow-cooked in white wine, tomato, and umami-rich mushrooms and a comforting Pumpkin Miso Soup infused with chestnut, eringi, and wagyu slices. The savoury portion of the menu ends with Ōmi Wagyu Moriawase, five cuts of premium wagyu prepared for tableside grilling and Yaki Kanpachi Sōmen, a refreshing finale of cold noodles served in a light wagyu broth accented with yuzu.

To end on a sweet note, guests can choose from AKABEKO’s special Holiday Dessert Offering, featuring a timeless Chocolate Yuzu Yule Log and the much-anticipated, classic Four Spice Star Cake.
