Greek celebrity Chef Sperxos is bringing his culinary creativity to Sri Lanka for an exclusive two-night dining experience at The Avenue Colombo, taking place on 29 and 30 October 2026.
Under the theme “Where the Mediterranean Meets the Tropics,” this special collaboration celebrates the rich flavours of Greek cuisine and the bold spices, fresh ingredients, and culinary heritage of Sri Lanka.
For Chef Sperxos, Sri Lanka holds a special place in his heart. Having visited the island more than 20 times, he has developed a deep appreciation for its people, culture, and traditional cuisine. His experiences exploring local ingredients, aromatic spices, and authentic Sri Lankan flavours have inspired him to bring the two culinary worlds together in a unique dining experience.
Originally from Greece and based in Dubai, Chef Sperxos is the founder and CEO of EF ZIN Group, with successful hospitality concepts including THE DISH by Chef Sperxos, EFZIN Private Dining, and EFZIN Fresh. Known for his modern approach to Mediterranean cuisine, he brings years of international culinary experience and a passion for connecting cultures through food.
For this exclusive event, Chef Sperxos will collaborate with The Avenue Colombo team to create a specially curated menu combining Greek culinary traditions with the distinctive spices and flavours of Sri Lanka. Guests can expect creative dishes, exciting flavour combinations, and a memorable dining atmosphere.
