Il Brunch Italiano at BiCE

We all love Italian food and a good brunch and the Italian restaurant BICE created “Il Brunch Italiano” which mixes the two together. We absolutely had to check it out and can’t wait to share to with all of the Dubai foodies and the Italian community in UAE.

To start the meal you can head to the Antipasti section and enjoy the selection of fresh salads. Italians love their cheese and Mozzarella or Burrata are a must try.

If you are a pizza addict like myself, you will be pleasantly surprised to see the head chef Davide Gardini appear next to your table with a ginormous pizza.

The pizza is just perfect-the crunchy crust, mozzarella that melts in your mouth and topped with fresh basil leaves.

The live pasta station is another favourite. Here you can pick the type of pasta you want and it will be prepared in front of you. All the pasta is fatta a casa which means it is home-made.

Risotto prepared in a Grana Padano wheel is another Italian delicacy that should not to be missed. Grana Padano is one of the most popular cheeses around the world due to the high standards of its productions well as its distinctive flavour and texture. “Grana” means “grainy” in Italian and “padano” refers to the production area in the “Pianura Padana” which is the Po River Valley in northern Italy. 

Outside there is a BBQ section with a selection of meat and seafood. We absolutely love the grilled shrimps and salmon drizzled with pepper sauce.

I dolci, or dessert, is probably the best part of the Italian meal and the traditional Tiramisu is perfect dessert to close the meal. Pair up this delicate creamy dessert with coffee flavour with a double espresso and you will definitely score a straight “A” in your Dolce Vita (“the sweet life”) class.

You can also enjoy Cannoli, Italian pastries that originated on the island of Sicily and are a staple of Sicilian cuisine.

The home of authentic Italian cuisine, located in the heart of Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, BiCE Ristorante is serving up delicious flavours at its Friday brunch. Every Friday from the 31^st of January until the 24^th of April, patrons are welcome tuck into the delicious dishes served with a modern twist as they enjoy their afternoon with friends and family. The sumptuous menu features all the classics and house favourite dishes, such as the traditional burrata, panzanella, sumptuous slices of pizza and home-made, fresh, Italian breads. Guests will delight in the sight of the extensive pasta station, as they snap with the chance to sink their teeth into a selection of fresh pasta, made before their very eyes at the station.

The skilled chefs will be firing up the grill to serve succulent meats, including a juicy lamb rack, tender chicken breast and smoky vegetable skewers. Seafood lovers can tuck into the fresh from the sea, jumbo prawns, salmon and seabass fillet. To finish off the experience on a high, guests can indulge in the impressive dessert buffet, featuring favourites such as Sicilian cannoli, panna cotta, tiramisu, fruit and sweet macarons.
