LARTE is a trendy Italian eatery located at Studio One hotel that recently reopened with a revamped menu created by Head Chef Luca. We were tempted by the wood-fire oven pizzas, a great pasta selection and all Italian drinks like Aperol spritz and were super excited to sample the new menu.
Antipasti. Starters
The assorted bruschetta platter featured 5 different pieces, each with its own taste, texture and character. My favourite were Alpeggio(spinach, brie and walnuts) and Crudaiola (avocado, sundries tomato and rocket leaves ).
Primi (Pasta e Risotti)
You can never go wrong with a mushroom risotto and we quite enjoyed the delicate truffle flavour and the hearty portion.
Pasta is the basis of Italian cuisine and if you want to enjoy a classic dish then Rigatoni Carbonara(rigatoni, beef bacon, pecorino and parmesan) is your pick. If you prefer a vegetarian option, Gnocchi pesto e Porcini are so yum! Definitely the highlight of the whole meal, they remind of a home-made dish and make you want fare la scarpetta, to make a “little shoe” with a piece of bread and enjoy every last bit of the rich sauce.

Secondi. Mains
Salmone Gratino is a rather light option and yet it is very rich in flavour and texture. Lemon-caper sauce enriches the flavour of the tender salmon and the sautéed baby spinach is a perfect side dish for it.
Dolci. Desserts
When it comes to desserts, I strongly recommend to try Sgroppino, which is made of lemon sorbet and prosecco. It is very light and will leave a fresh after taste on your palette. If you prefer classic desserts then Tiramisu or Torta alla Nutella are great picks as well. And a double espresso to finish big meal is a must 🙂
We are definitely impressed by Larte and will be coming back either for the La Notte della Pizza (unlimited pizza every Wednesday) or La Dolce Vita Brunch, the three-hour brunch that happens every Friday and features wide variety of appetizers such asBruschetta Norcina and Melanzane in Teglia, signature dishes from the new menuincluding Pizza Capricciosa and Boscaiola, Risotto Funghi and Gnocchi Pesto.
