Lawrie Shabibi announces the much-anticipated exhibition Tethys by renowned Lebanese American artist Nabil Nahas, in conjunction with the grand reopening of our gallery space. The exhibition, scheduled to run from 30 October to 5 January, 2024, will take the viewer on a journey through the boundless world of colour, texture, and imagination.
“Introspection as Resistance” by Mehdi Moutashar Takes Part in Frieze Masters
Lawrie Shabibi is pleased to announce its participation in Frieze Masters 2023 in the Spotlight section curated by Valerie Cassel Oliver, presenting artworks by Mehdi Moutashar (b. 1943, Iraq). The section will feature solo presentations of 20th-century artists, emphasising under-appreciated work from the 1950s to the 1970s.
