Hosted in collaboration with Dubai Culture, from 9 April until Eid Al-Fitr, Ramadan Art Nights is the perfect venue to spend pleasant Ramadan evenings, discovering your love of art as you appreciate the works of multi-disciplinary artists – from drawings and paintings, to sculptures and video installations.  

In keeping with the central Ramadan themes of contemplation and spiritualism, Ramadan Art Nights allows you to uncover your true inner artist and learn more about the cultural heritage and meaning behind the fascinating artworks on display, while Al Seef lights up with its stunning Ramadan décor.

Al Seef is engaging with popular artists in the local art circuit, including Asma Ahmed Shikoh, whose work highlights the importance of a spiritual heart. Her magnificent outdoor installation is inspired by the power of weathervanes and weaves in the subtle message of embracing the divine environment we live in.

Look out for the unique Arabic calligrapher Mohamad Elagaty’s stunning augmented reality animation that is sure to amaze and inspire. Find yourself mesmerised by his interactive 3D artworks.

Masarra Fatima Sulaimani symbolically connects her acrylic art with the journey of life. Portraying the emotions and adventures as well as highs and lows we go through in life, her artistic renditions also hint at the greater journeys that await us.

Ali Shawwa uses his 3D printed sculptures to highlight the common Middle Eastern and Arab characteristics and themes that are unique to the region – from sand dunes to Arabic coffee cups and Abayas – each artistic motif has a strong association with the people of this region.

And If you’re a nature lover, you are sure to appreciate organic elements coming to life in Yara Manla and Raghad’s unique outdoor installation. 

If you’ve had your fill of art for the day, you can take a breezy stroll along the quaint markets lining the streets of Al Seef – where you can shop for a variety of traditional Ramadan products and artefacts. Al Seef’s restaurants offer an ideal place to break your fast, with a range of discounted Iftar menus that are bursting with flavour. And if you’re a night owl, you can enjoy the delicious Suhour menus as well under the destination’s dazzling lights.
