Firetti Contemporary is showcasing creative concepts raising awareness of climate change.

Firetti Contemporary is a newly opened art gallery based in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, bringing together creative concepts that are associated with works from around the region and beyond.

Firetti Contemporary opened their doors on the 22nd of March with the exhibition IMPRINT (ongoing till 24 May)

IMPRINT brings forth two stainless steel sculptures titled ICEBERG and EARTH, created in support of raising awareness of global warming and the melting of polar glaciers. The works carry an environmental message and provoke thoughts on the impact of climate change, a global problem that will affect every individual on each of the seven continents of the world. The installation works parallel with ICEBERG, acts as its terrestrial counterpoint and memorializes the continued damage we inflict upon the planet.

Alongside the current exhibition they will be hosting a panel discussion IMPRINT: From Inspiration to Action on the 30th of May 10am,  the panelists are representatives of various UAE based organizations and will talk about initiatives and measures taken in relation to climate change and sustainability. This non-profit event is hosted with the sole purpose of climate change awareness and to inspire change. We are welcoming those who are truly engaged in this subject and who are passionate to spread their views and contributions to such important matters.  The discussion will be moderated by Anna Seaman, an arts writer, curator and independent journalist.

The participants of the panel discussion include:
