Artist statement
I believe that visual art is an important medium to make people see and perceive the truth. I tried to express my thoughts, feelings of peace and the love of humanity in a different colorful perspective.
A piece of visual art plays a big role in our lives. Sometimes looking at a magazine cover inspires the artist and he starts constructing images in his mind, going along with this experience until the stage where he needs to visually depict it. With my new artworks, I am trying to reach what is beyond reality. To go where the viewers can experience a visual journey, which makes them see reality in a hopeful and peaceful manner; even if reality, sometimes, is not as desirable as we want!
Color and poetry are very important aspects in my work. The different connotations associated with certain texts of poetry written in different languages and colors, beautify what I am trying to convey through art. I personally find graffiti very inspiring! Seeing the impact it leaves on people from all around the world. A huge impact with only a few words being sprayed onto the walls. I find the physicality of creating this type of art, as well as the spectrum of colors I set into my palette to be highly liberating.

XVA Gallery is one of the leading galleries in the Middle East that specializes in contemporary art from the Arab world, Iran, and the Subcontinent.
