GENNY Karolina Kurkova FW23/24 fashion collection
Sara Cavazza, the creative director of GENNY, has selected the magnetic supermodel Karolina Kurkova as the face of the new Fall/Winter 23-24 collection.

“The campaign encapsulates GENNY’s conscious seduction feeling. Karolina Kurkova, a model with extensive experience and the right artistic maturity, symbolizes a woman who not only possesses beauty but also the heart to embrace the more sentimental soul of GENNY,” says Creative Director Sara Cavazza.

The set for the campaign took place in a neoclassical-inspired location, where photographer Dario Cattelani and stylist Alex White deployed their artistic expertise in fashion imaging. With Sara Cavazza’s guidance, the team successfully conveyed a message that celebrates GENNY’s determined and perpetually chic temperament.

The looks chosen to be featured in the campaign serve as archetypes of the Fall/Winter 23-24 collection. The tailored tuxedo represents the most dynamic evening dress, while the sheepskin outerwear expertly adorned with the Blockchain pattern showcases consistent innovation. The interplay of the notch and X patterns gracefully provoke a sense of sophistication within the knit/trouser combination, while the structured trench coat epitomizes the Maison’s international and adventurous spirit.

Deliberately capturing close-ups, the photo frames celebrate the quality of fabrics handpicked by Sara Cavazza, contributing to the creation of an increasingly precious and enveloping collection.

About GENNY

The Genny brand was first launched in 1962 by Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli. The collection soon gained acclaim and popularity among women, claiming its place among the top names in Italian fashion, also on account of the stylistic contribution of famous designers such as Gianni Versace, who became the Creative Director at Genny in 1973. The brand has belonged to Swinger International Group of Verona since 2011, which has chosen a new direction for Genny’s original style, focusing on aesthetics that feature flowing lines and a more feminine mood, achieved through painstaking attention to features and details. This transformation was made possible by Sara Cavazza Facchini, Artistic Director of the Maison since 2013, who has skilfully blended its heritage with a sense of timeless elegance, a genuine air of femininity and a contemporary mood achieved through the details.
