Myrto Dramountani Fall-Winter 2020-21 collection was inspired by the opalescent colored and textured stained glasses and mosaics. After her visit at the Met museum in New York she was so inspired by the use and juxtaposition of color and shapes in Tiffany’s and La Frage work. This inspired the alchemy of color/textures of the prints on velvet and the laser cut shapes in the fall collection.

Bio
Myrto Dramountani is a Fashion Designer and Architect. She holds a Masters’s degree from the National Technical University of Athens and she is mostly known for her quirky, sexy, stylish, and avant-garde designs which are characterized by her signature laser-cut dresses. She was accepted at Parsons with a full scholarship. Her work has been published in magazines such as Vogue UK, Glamour UK, Tatler UK, Grazia Middle East, Marie Claire, Madame Figaro. The inspiration for her collections is the fabric itself which she approaches as a three-dimensional surface. The laser-cut patterns create visual illusions and give spatial properties to her designs. This approach is achieved by using the latest computational design techniques and digital fabrication technology.
