As a huge fan of all things Italian, I was happy to visit Luciano’s, located in Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, Dubai Marina. Located just about ten minutes away from where I stay, it was a perfect choice for a lunch with my friend.
I always get excited about the starters as they serve as the beginning of your gastronomical journey and define how the rest of it unfolds. My friend and I are both into healthy food so we opted for mushroom arancini, crispy calamari and the shrimp salad as well as the grilled octopus salad.
It was a great combination of plates to share and get our tastebuds excited. I adore seafood so the grilled octopus salad stole my heart. And arancini reminded me of my school days in Rome, enjoying the simple bites of the popular street food.

Costoletta Alla Milanese and Griglia Salmon were our choices for the mains. We enjoyed the traditional veal cutlet with baby potatoes but the grilled salmon was the star of the show as it was tender and went perfectly with asparagus and kalamata. Definitely a great choice for other ladies or anyone who loves a light healthy meal.

A meal is never complete without the dessert and to end things on a nice note we both agreed on some fresh sorbet and the Limoncello Tart that was beautifully presented. The Russian soul demanded some black tea to accompany the dessert and the team brought us some freshly brewed Earl Gray. We felt truly pampered and well taken care of.
Ambience
While the indoor area is rather intimate and offers good views, the outdoor seating area is stunning and perfect for alfresco hangout as the weather is cooling down.
After the meal I took the buggy to the beach just in time to catch some waves and a stunning sunset. I think weather someone is visiting Dubai or just lives in the area, Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection offers great dining options like Luciano’s as well as a beautiful beach and other amenities.
