About Chef Alexandros Sperxos

Award-winning chef Alexandros Sperxos hails from Kalavryta, Greece, where he embarked on a mission to elevate Greek cuisine onto the global stage. Following successful ventures in the Greek islands and Athens, he assumed the role of promoting Greek culture in Dubai, managing three restaurants at the prestigious One&Only Royal Mirage. Three years later, Sperxos co-founded Ena restaurant in Dubai, a culinary endeavour that saw him sourcing over 200 authentic Greek products from producers and farmers in remote villages across Greece. In 2019, Alexandros Sperxos was appointed as an official Ambassador of Greek Gastronomy in the UAE under the banner of Greek Taste Beyond Borders. In this capacity, he offers his expertise to consult restaurants and curates events such as the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 and Taste of the World at Gulfood. Additionally, he hosts private VIP events and conducts professional and consumer cooking classes.
