Hugo Wilson has chosen “The Raft” as title for his upcoming Berlin exhibition. Of course, this immediately evokes associations with the most famous raft in art history, Gericault’s Raft of the Medusa – and inevitably with the theme of “salvation.” So how does this tie in with this exhibition, the first in which his abstract and his figurative works are shown side by side?
The Arts Club Dubai announces a solo show by the acclaimed British artist Daniel Crews-Chubb (b.1984, based in London, UK), as part of the Club’s ongoing Stairway Exhibitions. The exhibition presents four totemic paintings illustrating the artist’s iconic figures and is the seventh exhibit to be hosted at the Club, since its opening in late 2020.
Known for her bold style, British artist Jo Fenlon will hold a unique art exhibition at Le Meridien Fairway featuring some of her best artworks, popping with shimmers, gold and neon as from 20th March 2023. The showcase will include works titled “In Neon We Trust, The Heart of The Matter and Moonscape”.
Presented by Firetti Contemporary, Breaking Boundaries is a new exhibition showcasing the works of artists Josh Rowell and Nasser Al Salem.
