Dubai International Boat Show is getting ready to welcome more than 30,000 visitors to the seafront district Dubai Harbour, when the region’s largest, and most established marine and lifestyle event in the Middle East will get underway from 1-5 March.
Yango, an internationally recognized ride-hailing app, has joined forces with KAMEH, a UAE-based, enigmatic brand, to create a bespoke design for the Yango pick-up point at the entrance of Art Dubai Digital, the dedicated new media section of the region’s leading international art fair. By collaborating, both brands have demonstrated a mutual appreciation for art, design, and luxury. Visitors to the fair, which takes place at Madinat Jumeirah from March 3-5, will have the opportunity to discover the object and experience Yango’s services firsthand.
Under the honorary patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the special 20th edition of Abu Dhabi Festival kicks off in a few days on 1 March 2023 at Emirates Palace with a performance by acclaimed Peruvian tenor, Juan Diego Flórez. Presented by Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation and held under the theme “The Will for Evolution”, the headline programme of events will take place during the first three weeks of March and features the world’s most renowned performers and musicians.

Celebrating five years of its multidisciplinary space Concrete, Alserkal Avenue is presenting a rare solo presentation of work by artist Rana Begum. This will be the artist’s largest solo exhibition in the region to date and will include works that have not been shown in the region before. Begum’s work will explore the interaction of light, colour and form in dialogue with OMA’s Concrete, responding to the building’s architectural conversation with light and form, captured in its minimalist lines. The exhibition is curated by Dr Cliff Lauson. Dappled Light opened to the public on 26 February and will run until 22 March 2023
The Third Line presents “Gut Feelings: Part II”, their fifth solo exhibition with Los Angeles based artist Hayv Kahraman. Occupying both gallery spaces, Kahraman presents a series of new paintings and drawings that continue her ongoing scientific research and exploration into the effects of trauma on the body, and the role of the gut in our healing process.
The Theatre of Digital Art, with the support of Belvedere Museum and the Crypto Oasis, brings a beautiful art exhibition that features the incredible work of “Klimt and The Impressionists”, further revolutionising the reach of impressionism and modern masterpieces in Dubai.
“Glacier Dreams” is an immersive audio-visual installation with an olfactory component. In creating the work, Refik Anadol will process a dataset of visual materials from online and institutional archives along with personally-collected glacier visuals, through machine learning algorithms.
