The 6th edition of Art Cairo will take place in the iconic Grand Egyptian Museum from 8-11 February 2025 with a VIP preview on 7 February.

Following the success of its previous editions, the fair has established itself as a significant feature on the global art calendar, and continues to explore and provide a platform for established and emerging artists from around the region.

The fair aims to bring together a significant group of galleries from across the Middle East and North Africa, and this year will include galleries from Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, and Kuwait, as well as representation from Morocco, Turkey, and Tunisia for the first time.

In our 6th edition, we aim to showcase the artistic richness of the Middle East and North Africa to local, regional, and international audiences while energising and supporting Cairo’s dynamic art ecosystem. Set against the unique historical and cultural backdrop of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Art Cairo serves not only as a platform for artists but also as an arena for discourse on the exciting artistic ambitions of the region.

The 5th edition’s ‘Hiwar’ (Dialogue in Arabic) Talks Programme featured participants such as  Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour as part of a diverse selection of events.  Building on this success, the 6th edition’s Hiwar aims to provide an equally engaging programme featuring  in-conversations, panels and talks with artists, curators, gallerists and thought leaders exploring themes across the arts spectrum.

The fair continues to host a prestigious array of VIPs, last year welcoming Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, former Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary-General of the Arab League, among others.  Alongside the opening programme at the fair, there is also an extensive programme for VIPs, collectors, and gallerists to explore the rich heritage and culture of Cairo, as well as a collector hosted dinner showcasing an exceptional private collection.
