Maher Attar and Ahmed Manawishi’s latest collaboration ‘Seduction’ is set to stun Beirut at the opening tomorrow 13 February at Art District Gallery.
‘Seduction’ is a mesmerizing photo and painting exhibition that unravels the intricate dance of love, desire, and emotional connection. Ahmed Manawishi presents in his paintings a striking visual narrative inspired by the provocative and stylized aesthetics of famous photographer Helmut Newton. Blending classical iconography with contemporary themes, Manawishi reimagines mythological figures through a bold, cinematic lens, exploring power, sensuality, and transformation.
His work echoes Newton’s signature interplay of light and shadow, creating an immersive experience that challenges perception and reinvents timeless myths for a modern audience.
