There are a thousand occasions – and as many ways – to celebrate. One thing is sure: the best celebrations are shared with others. Following on from the three previous exhibitions at GemGenève (Fabulous Carl Fabergé, Micromosaics through the ages and Automatons and Music) GemGenève’s organisers are keen to promote jewellery heritage alongside all the related Métiers d’art, offering institutions, firms and discerning collectors a more prominent place as part of the exhibition’s cultural programme.
RX Global, the organiser behind Jewellery & Watch Show Abu Dhabi (JWS), has revealed that the 30th edition of the event will feature over 200 brands from 20+ countries – including Italy, Lebanon, Poland, India, the USA, and Hong Kong – in a powerful display of international jewellery design and manufacturing.
The Strong & Precious Art Foundation is taking part in the GemGenève jewellery tradeshow on 2-5 November 2023. This is the fourth time the Foundation will be presented at the exhibition, featuring already known Ukrainian brands and jewellery designers from the previous years, as well as showcasing the new ones.
Boghossian has introduced several new masterpieces in its Inlay Collection that are a true reflection of the Maison’s signature blend of Eastern inspiration and innovative craftsmanship. With the new Inlay ‘Reveal’ line, an enigmatic opaque hardstone delicately conceals a dazzling, faceted coloured gemstone at its heart.
Drawing its origin from the creative history of Van Cleef & Arpels, the Fleurette collection motif shines with seven round diamonds that form a delicate corolla. It is now reinventing itself in a new marriage between the soft warmth of rose gold and the brilliance of diamonds. Illuminating the hollow of the neckline, as well as the hand and face, the four new creations adorn the silhouette with a timeless elegance.
GemGenève is proud to be welcoming nine talented designers curated by Nadège Totah: five Emerging Talents and four New Designers who as such, will be able to benefit from greater visibility in the show’s Designer Village, which brings together all the young talents represented at GemGenève. Their works offer a fascinating insight into a world of highly diverse ideas and sources of inspiration, full of innovation and ingenuity and highlighting each artist’s individual personality.
For its seventh edition, GemGenève is staging a poetic exhibition entitled The Pearl Odyssey. Bringing together over thirty jewels and outstanding pieces, the exhibition once again bears witness to the tradeshow’s commitment to promoting jewellery arts. Chaumet, the Flee Project collective, an important private collector, and a number of partner exhibitors have joined forces for this unprecedented undertaking, agreeing to display some of their most beautiful items.
Bea Bongiasca, the celebrated Milanese jewelry designer known for her vibrant creations, proudly introduces her latest collection: Loop. This marks a significant departure from her iconic pop-inspired designs, offering a new perspective of playful elegance.
