From 8 to 11 May 2025, the world of jewellery will be gathering at Palexpo for a new edition that’s as daring as it’s innovative.
The eighth edition of GemGenève came to a close on Sunday evening after four days’ worth of jewellery-inspired euphoria at Palexpo. Now an international fixture on the scene, this unique exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of jewellery creation past and present; the latest edition was enthusiastically received, featuring 244 exhibitors including dealers, traders in gemstones and emerging artists from 22 countries in total, an all-time record for the event.
The seventh edition of GemGenève, the tradeshow especially for jewellery professionals and enthusiasts and open to the public, finished on Sunday evening.
Following on from the three previous exhibitions at GemGenève (Fabulous Carl Fabergé, Micromosaics through the ages and Automatons and Music) GemGenève’s organisers are keen to promote jewellery heritage alongside all the related Métiers d’art, offering institutions, firms and discerning collectors a more prominent place as part of the exhibition’s cultural programme.
The Strong & Precious Art Foundation is taking part in the GemGenève jewellery tradeshow on 2-5 November 2023. This is the fourth time the Foundation will be presented at the exhibition, featuring already known Ukrainian brands and jewellery designers from the previous years, as well as showcasing the new ones.
GemGenève is proud to be welcoming nine talented designers curated by Nadège Totah: five Emerging Talents and four New Designers who as such, will be able to benefit from greater visibility in the show’s Designer Village, which brings together all the young talents represented at GemGenève. Their works offer a fascinating insight into a world of highly diverse ideas and sources of inspiration, full of innovation and ingenuity and highlighting each artist’s individual personality.
For its seventh edition, GemGenève is staging a poetic exhibition entitled The Pearl Odyssey. Bringing together over thirty jewels and outstanding pieces, the exhibition once again bears witness to the tradeshow’s commitment to promoting jewellery arts. Chaumet, the Flee Project collective, an important private collector, and a number of partner exhibitors have joined forces for this unprecedented undertaking, agreeing to display some of their most beautiful items.
The seventh edition of GemGenève will be held in Hall 6 at Palexpo from 2 to 5 November 2023. GemGenève founders Thomas Faerber and Ronny Totah are proud to announce that the show will host 148 jewellery dealers from 18 countries. In all, counting colleges, designers, laboratories and other cultural partners, there are expected to be just over 175 exhibitors.
The sixth edition of GemGenève, the tradeshow especially for jewellery professionals and enthusiasts and open to the public, finished on Sunday evening. A total of 4,320 visitors came to Palexpo to discover the outstanding gemstones and new releases on display at GemGenève. While the exhibitors concentrated on new business over the four days, the general public had the opportunity to find out more about the many facets of the world of jewellery, a unique experience for first-time buyers and seasoned collectors alike.
The “Donna Jewel x GemGenève” project arose from a desire to give voice to creativity, culture and self-expression through the art of jewelry. The goldsmith’s art thus becomes a language of freedom and universal innovation.
